What's New?!

Myself and Carey's GTO, Oct. 1st, 2009
It's my favorite season of the year, FALL!! :-) Well guys, I'm currently in the process of revamping my website. I'm adding a Rabbit Supplies page to be launched sometime in the next few days! I also in the future will be adding a Rabbit Care section. It will come as I have time.
I'm sure you are also wondering where I have been and what i've been up to... or not... haha! No, I haven't been breeding or showing bunnies lately... I still have tons of Hollands, but most of my herd has aged quite a bit, a majority of them are in the 4-7 year range with a couple 8 year olds as well (Ramses & Pro). And needless to say, we have lost some of our favorites :-( I lost Dazzle in January and just lost Tommie recently... losses aren't easy for me/us in the first place, but, those two were a couple of the hardest. Talk about heartbreak.
Convention! In Del Mar! YAY! Yes, you will see me at Convention and i'm sure everyday... haha. We live less than an hour from the Del Mar Fairgrounds so I wouldn't miss it! The '01 Convention in Del Mar was the first convention I went to! We also will be supplying the King Feed for the show. Be sure to also check out my Supplies page once it's launched for feed or supplies... we'd be happy to deliver to convention unless you want to come up to the ranch and visit some Gypsy Horses :-)
We have so much going on here!
Last year we finally got our Feed Store up and running and it just gets busier! Check out the "Horses & Feed Store" link! We have supplies and equipment for all animals, and since i'm the bunny girl, we have a special section just for bunnies :-) The store definitely keeps us busy... besides one outside helper, it is completely run by our family! We also are open 7 days a week.

Rio
We also raise Gypsy Horses. These incredible horses hale from the UK and are actually raised by Gypsies. They are a newer breed of horse to the US and definitely attract attention. Our stallion, "Rio", is a definite traffic stopper... imagine a flashy black and white horse, with lots of hair, forelock past his nose and heavy feathers... think fairytale... as our vet calls him, "the Disney horse". These horses aren't typically big horses, but with the draft build it gives you the impression of a bigger horse. They also have amazing personalities! Rio comes from Northern England where he was a driving horse, our three breeding age mares come from England and Wales. We had two beautiful Gypsy foals born this year and they definitely didn't last long (on the sale page!)! Rio is a fun horse to ride and work with and I will most likely be starting Dressage training with him this year and do some breed demonstrations/exhibitions as well.

Out in the field this summer with "Tang", our Palomino AQHA stallion :-)
